Yorkshire based Supplies Team Solutions has unveiled a new look and new location as it reports a return to profitable growth and a secure future.
Supplies Team Solutions is the leading supplier of office stationery and electronic office supplies in the UK and Ireland, with over 40 years experience and is one of the only British-based companies in this sector.
Supplies Team Solutions is part of Vasanta Group Holdings Ltd, which has experienced a rocky 18 months with the company facing administration and the possible loss of 1,500 jobs following a buyout in 2007 and the collapse of the global economy in 2008.
Private equity firm Endless stepped in to acquire the company in July 2009, reducing debt and investing real funds to stabilise the business and recover market share.
Supplies Team Solutions, alongside the rest of the group (which includes ISA Retail and VOW) is now well on the way back to healthy levels of profits, and has relocated the head office from Bradford to a new site at Normanton, West Yorkshire, which will also house a major new distribution centre.

We have successfully recovered from a difficult time and emerged with a very bright future. As well as growing our core business we have launched our own line of products and are working with all suppliers to offer a greater emphasis on 'green' products and with customers to help reduce costs and waste."

The move to Normanton streamlines costs allowing for the introduction of vital new machinery and storage space for 8000 pallets (£18 million of stock) to ensure the company can guarantee fast delivery, maintaining a competitive edge in a tough economic climate.
